We collect the following information when you register and use Deckly:

Account information

• Your name and email address (provided during sign-up)
• Password (stored in hashed form via Supabase Auth)

Brand and business information

• Business name, tagline, and website
• Instagram handle and posting preferences
• Brand colors, fonts, tone, and visual style choices
• Uploaded logo images
• Goals and content strategy details you provide

Payment information

• Subscription plan and status
• Payment transaction references (processed by Razorpay — we do not store card numbers or CVVs)

Generated content

• AI-generated post HTML, captions, and hashtags created on your behalf
• Post history and scheduling data

Usage data

• Log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages accessed (collected automatically by our hosting provider, Vercel)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your Deckly account
• Generate branded Instagram posts tailored to your brand identity and goals
• Schedule and publish posts to your connected Instagram account
• Process subscription payments and manage billing
• Send transactional emails (e.g. payment receipts, service notifications)
• Improve the quality and accuracy of AI-generated content
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

Deckly uses the following third-party services to operate. By using Deckly, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by these providers in accordance with their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — Database and authentication. Your account data and brand information are stored on Supabase infrastructure. supabase.com/privacy
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI content generation. Your brand details and goals are sent to Anthropic's API to generate post content. anthropic.com/privacy
• Razorpay — Payment processing. Your subscription payment is handled by Razorpay. We receive a payment reference but not your raw card data. razorpay.com/privacy
• Meta / Instagram — When you connect your Instagram account, we access it via Meta's APIs to publish posts on your behalf. We request only the permissions needed for posting. facebook.com/privacy/policy
• Pixabay — Stock image sourcing. Your industry type may be used as a search query to find relevant background images for posts. pixabay.com/service/privacy

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase's secure cloud infrastructure. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit
• Row-level security policies on our database
• API keys stored as server-side environment variables, never exposed to the client

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account:

• Your personal information and brand settings will be deleted within 30 days of your request
• Generated posts and associated content will be permanently deleted
• Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Disconnect your Instagram account at any time via the Deckly dashboard
• Cancel your subscription at any time

Deckly uses session cookies for authentication purposes only. We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking.

8. Children's Privacy

Deckly is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Deckly after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
